Live at the Apollo

Last night, we had a Branch trip to the Hammersmith Apollo to attend a recording of Live at the Apollo. With our priority tickets in hand (the ones that get you to the front of the queue), we proudly walked up to the security guards, bright eyed and with big smiles, only to be crushed and told “No more priority entries.” Now after the build up of excitement and my promising of a great night, we weren’t prepared to let this one go. We waited for 40 minutes, threw in some pleading with security and finally we were successful, hurrah! So in we went, had great seats and enjoyed a damn good night of comedy, and all for free. Moral of the story? Perseverance pays off!
